Our fleet continues to expand with state-of-the-art helicopters from manufacturers including Leonardo and Airbus that deliver lower emissions, improve efficiency, and enhance reliability.

Supporting Mission-Critical Operations
A significant portion of our fleet is committed to Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Search and Rescue (SAR); aircraft that enable the ‘golden hour’ response, bringing vital care and rescue to communities around the world.
These mission‑critical operations directly align with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those promoting good health, resilient infrastructure, and sustainable communities.
Sustainable Partnerships
In 2024, SMFLH developed the world’s first Social Loan Framework for helicopter leasing, aligning capital investment with lifesaving missions.
We are also an active member of the Airbus Helicopters Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) User Group.
We are a signatory of Aircraft Leasing Ireland’s (ALI) Sustainability Charter, with a commitment to driving forward and achieving ESG related goals, centred around 10 priority sustainability principles, including a commitment to achieving net zero by 2050.
Empowering People and Communities
Responsibility also extends to our people and the communities we serve. Our team members actively support charitable initiatives and regularly volunteer and fundraise within their local communities.
We also work to inspire the next generation of aviation professionals, with our team visiting schools to encourage and promote careers in the aviation sector.
